Inspired by the Book of 2nd Timothy 3:16-17, we took the Word of God to Maralal GK Prison and spent time with the community there as we listened and engaged with scripture.
As part of the rehabilitation program, audio Bibles are being used for spiritual nourishment. Now with a full-on chapel, the inmates have been able to hear the Word of God and become preachers of the same. Through these audio Bibles, many inmates have been touched by the gospel and remain completely reformed, dedicating their lives to Christ.
Communication among the inmates and the officers has significantly improved as most of them are busy discussing and learning from the audio Bibles. To say the least, crime is slowly fading away, as the teachings of Christ are shaping character.
By extension, the community at Alata Lerai still asks for more audio Bibles after hearing testimonies that God can speak in their mother tongue. This impact came from some of the inmates sharing their experiences with the Audio Bibles.
