In the remote village of Telesgaye, the Word of God is taking root not just in homes, but in the hearts of children thanks to a small but mighty tool: the Audio Bible, fondly referred to by the local youth as the “talking radio.”

One young boy shared how the device has made it easy for him and his friends to hear the Word of God whether at home, while playing, or even out in the fields herding goats. “When my friends visit,” he explained, “we start by playing. But before the day ends, I always play the Audio Bible. We sit and listen together, and I share what I’ve learned about Jesus.” From miraculous stories like the healing of the blind to scriptures about obeying parents for a long life, these young listeners are absorbing God’s Word and passing it on.

Another boy spoke of how his father, who also listens to the Audio Bible regularly, takes time to teach him what he hears. As a family, they listen together during dinner and again before breakfast. The Audio Bible, he said, has become like a teacher nurturing their faith and shaping their daily lives.

The spiritual impact isn’t confined to their homes. “Sometimes when my friends start to fight while playing,” the boy continued, “I remind them what the Bible says. I tell them, ‘Jesus wants us to love one another.’ And when we’re herding and a goat gets lost, I tell them, ‘Let’s pray and ask God to help,’ instead of using chants and traditional rituals.”

What began as a simple listening habit has now turned into a movement. These children are not just learning the Gospel, they are living it, sharing it, and multiplying it. “What I share with my friends,” one said, “they go and share with theirs.”
