The month of April has been full of abundance for the Word of God. We were privileged to conduct a Bible listening training at Good Hope church in Machakos County to share the word and audio Bibles with the community.
Something about being closer to home brings a warmth to know that the people of Kinanie were blessed. The people showed up in numbers, something we did not see coming, but God is never limited (Ephesians 3:20). Everyone received an Audio Bible and a certificate of successful training. We are hopeful that 27 audio Bibles will reach more than 270 people through the Bible listening groups each individual will form.

Do you believe in the power of the Holy Spirit? During our session, three questions are usually asked: What have you heard? What have you understood? What will you do? Deborah Muya stood up before many could answer and sang these three statements, and the whole congregation joined in in Kamba, their local language. We believe that was an anointing that was made manifest, and we could not be more grateful for how God is touching lives in our community.

The Audio Bible is now bridging divides. We had believers from all denominations, Pentecostals, Catholics, and many more who came to hear the voice of God.
Many left with one thing in mind: they were determined to get more audio Bibles so they could form Bible listening groups. We believe that the next time we visit, the word of God will have left the church and found its way to people’s homes and hearts. Remember to continue praying with us!
