In the semi-arid, vast plains of Singida, Tanzania, lives a community grounded in social norms. Their backbone is strongly anchored in farming and cattle rearing, but this did not stop them from having a hunger for Christ. Social cohesion has been their primary driver for spiritual and moral growth for generations. Our team, in partnership with the Free Pentecostal Church of Tanzania in Singida, provided audio Bibles and Bible listening group training that touched the hearts of many.
Many of the Nyaturu and Nyiramba people here grapple with traditional beliefs and dominance from the muslim community. While respecting their communal way of life and oral traditions, we still see the gospel taking root in ways that are personal to them. The people of Singida are listening!

“Mutuletee hizo Bibilia.” These words, meaning, we need more supply of those audio Bibles, came from a believer.
We did not just find people; we found a community ready for Christ. You could see that once the audio Bible played, believers were keen and literacy barriers vanished: God was not distant anymore.
