In the still lands of the Pokot community rests a new sound that has begun weaving itself into the landscape. The voice of God, a clear reasonance of the audio Bible. In partnership with Dr. Mbai and the local community, we extended our primary objective. From distributing audio Bibles, we went into fellowship with the people, a transformative period of faith, powerful testimonies, and intervention of the word of God.
Prayer session at the community church
Behind the gates of literacy, the deep wisdom of the scriptures can be felt. With the audio Bible, the village is now a sanctuary beyond walls. With 100 audio Bibles shared across Chemayes and Kalabata, many lives were impacted. For the youth, it became a moral compass. Many are rapidly embracing technology and can interact with God's word beyond their usual routines.
For the elderly, it is a source of comfort. The elaborate scripture in their mother tongue takes away "foreignness" and brings God closer. A feeling they liken to a neighbour who sits by the fire.

While the Audio Bible has proven that ink may stay on a page, the voice of God, however, breaks barriers through far lands where no roads have been built yet. In pokot we see how the local community has embraced the word of God through audio Bibles. The church is packed with both young and old. Bible training sessions have gained momentum, and even the elderly are showing up, ready to hear the word of God from scripture.
