Our Word for All team took to Kinangop for yet another powerful mission that all may hear his voice! At AIC Baraka, Njoma, the church and community were elated for the two-day Bible listening group training.
A community commonly known for its prowess in farming and rich agricultural soils, the inception of Audio Bibles was a game-changer. The people were certain that the Bible was a printed book, and most who could not read were shocked at this small ‘radio’, as they mistook it for.

A gentleman sharing from the Audio Bible
As they came into the church and heard the Audio Bible in Kikuyu, a language so familiar to them, they stayed and asked so many questions. To witness the eagerness to hear and share the word, 50 audio Bibles went into the hands of receptive believers, with many asking our team to visit yet again.
In their bible listening groups, you could hear the nuggets of wisdom they picked from the Audio Bible. They shared experiences with the rest of the members in their groups, and you could tell how happy the Word made them feel. You needed to be there to see that spiritual healing was something that could come from listening to scripture.

Members of the Church sharing lessons from the Audio Bible
The highlight of the moment came when they were issued certificates alongside their Audio Bibles. A moment to cherish. One lovely lady from the crowd shared how that was her first certificate, and she could not contain her joy. It was truly a moment to cherish, not just for the team but for the community to witness growth in scripture engagement.
